The HFGAC filter is designed to fit inside the Culligan 20" HF76 or HF97 housing only.
Removes bad taste, odour and organic chemicals from drinking water.
Contaminants removed from the water will be held inside the cartridge and so replacement at regular intervals is recommended. When first installing the cartridge it is good practice to run the tap for several minutes to flush through the media and remove any fine particles etc, left over from the manufacturing process.

We recommend that the HFGAC be changed at least every 6 months, but on occasions it may be necessary to change the cartridge more frequently than this. Reduced pressure is an obvious indicator that the HFGAC need changing.
Pressure drop through cartridge:
The pressure drop through the cartridge is approximately 3 psi when first installed. The differential pressure will increase the longer the cartridge is in service.
The pressure drop is dependant on the quality of the incoming water and may rise to 28 psi (2 bar), at which stage the cartridge becomes blocked.
